A LOCAL Burton upon Trent firm have continued their partnership and support with Burton Albion Community Trust (BACT), agreeing to sponsor weekend skills centres for the up and coming year, starting in September.
Our previous weekend sessions, ran on both a Saturday morning at Shobnall Leisure Centre and Sunday at the Burton Albion Community Football Centre 3G. However, all sessions will now move to the later, both on a Sunday at the brand-new Pirelli Stadium community facility. There will be three separate sessions, all that have been designed to help develop youngsters’ skills, in a fun and friendly environment with BACT’s qualified coaches.
All sessions will get underway from 9-10am. A mixed (boys and girls) session will run for 3-4 year olds, as well as separate mixed and girls only sessions for 5-12 years. The first session will be get underway on 10th September and will be FREE of charge. Following on from that, sessions will cost £4 per session or just £18 for a six non-consecutive weeks booking.
Scott Taylor, Football Coordinator, said: “We are using this session as the hub for football development weekend sessions in the Burton upon Trent area. We are looking forward to the sessions getting underway after the summer holidays in September and we are very grateful to ADS Accountancy for keeping their links and support with the Trust. They are sponsoring what promises to be a very popular community scheme. We hope to try and create a positive journey for all participants and a pathway that allows them personal development, which could also possibly benefit Burton Albion Football Club in the future.”
Steve Sharp, Director at ADS Accountancy, said: “We are delighted to be continuing our support for Trust and the great work it does to support the local community.”
