BAFC STARS VISIT COMMUNITY ASTRO AS PART OF JUNIOR BREWER AFTERNOON

Young Brewers fans have been given the opportunity to meet their Burton Albion heroes.

Burton Albion’s Junior Brewers and children on the Burton Albion Community Trust holiday courses got their chance to meet their favourite players in a special event.

The entire first-team squad and manager Nigel Clough joined the 50 kids for one big team photo as well as getting the chance to play football and other fun games such as penalty shootouts and an inflatable football challenge all on the brand new 3G astroturf pitch.

The young fans also got the opportunity to hang out with the players as well as take photos, get their autographs and have chats.

Andy Taylor, Head of the Burton Albion Community Trust, said: “It was a great day that enabled our Junior Brewers and youngsters on our holiday courses the opportunity to meet members of the Burton Albion first-team squad and manager Nigel Clough. It also enabled us to showcase what a great community facility our new 3G pitch is.”
