BURTON Albion First Team players Damien McCrory and Shaun Barker visited our Community Hub this morning to take part in a BACT Disability Programme.
The programme is open to anyone aged 16 years and over at the Community Hub. The aim is to make new friends and take part in fun inclusive physical and social activities. All abilities are welcome to join in the activities or have a chat with our staff over tea and coffee.
This session takes place every Friday between 9.30AM-11.30AM and cost just £5 per week.
Paul Furniss, Health and Inclusion Team Leader, said: “We are really grateful towards the lads for coming along to the sessions and for making it a fabulous experience for our participants. The lads were once again fantastic, just as they have been on all of the health and inclusion projects that thy have visited this season. We must also pay special thank to the Gaffer (Nigel Clough) for allowing them to give their time to these community projects. It really does make a massive difference and we couldn’t ask for them to have got anymore involved during their time here.”
