Dependent on prior grades you will have the opportunity to study a Level 2 or 3 BTEC Diploma in Sport all whilst playing for Burton Albion on a weekly basis. Players will receive coaching from our FA & UEFA qualified coaches at BACT’s new state of the art 3G pitch at the Pirelli Stadium, Marston’s Sports Club and even St George’s Park. We offer programmes in 11-a-side football for both males and females in the National Youth League, and also a Futsal Programme in the National Futsal Lague for males.
Burton Albion Community Trusts apprenticeship programme provides an opportunity to work within a thriving and developing delivery team, all whilst earning a yearly salary. Not only will participants earn their Nationally recognised apprenticeship, but BACT will help develop all other traits needed for a successful career within sport.
Foundation Degree in Community Football Coaching & Development
The Foundation Degree in Community Football Coaching and Development has been designed in conjunction with the Football League Trust in order to identify the type of skills and qualities that are required to work within professional football club’s community departments. This allows the opportunity to upskill and gain further knowledge whilst having the opportunity to put these skills into practice.
