Our Key Aim:

“Inspire and engage young people aged 11-19 through the power of football and the BAFC brand.”

The Heath and Inclusion department’s aim is to provide programmes that can have a positive impact on the health agenda within the Burton and surrounding areas. We want to use BAFC, our staff and our stadium as a vehicle to help create a healthier local community.

Through our Kicks project, our aim is to help provide opportunities to individuals from 11-19 years to participate in free football and Multi-Sport sessions whilst using the brand of Burton Albion Football Club. All staff aim to engage, inspire and educate all individuals of mixed abilities and ages.

Over 50’s weekly dance session that aims to improve balance and reduce weight.

Winshill Church Hall – Monday – 10.30am – 11.30am

Bereavement Help Point

Weekly bereavement session for East Staffordshire residents hosted by St Giles staff at BAFC.

Burton Albion Community Football Centre (Pirelli Stadium, Club Room – Mondays – 2pm-4pm

Over 50’s Fitness

Over 50’s weekly fitness session that aims to improve balance and reduce weight.

Community Hub – Tuesdays – 10.30am -11.30am

Golden Goal (Draycott)

Social and physical activity session for anyone aged 50 and over.

Clay Hill Village Hall – Alternate Tuesdays – 10.30am – 11.30am

Golden Goal (Burton)

Social and physical activity session for anyone aged 50 and over, range of weekly activities including, fitness, table tennis, kurling, walking, bingo and quizzes aswell as the occasional guest speaker.

Pirelli Stadium – Wedensdays – 10am – 12pm

Tackling Inactivity

Fitness session – this session is delivered and ran for mums and their kids in a safe fun environment, each week our staff lead a range of fitness and circuit training activities.

Winshill Community Centre – Wednesdays -5pm – 6.30pm

FiT Fans @ The Workout

Weekly fitness session based at the workout delivered by qualified PT instructors who will take you through a gruelling workout.

The Workout Gym – Thursday nights – 7pm-8pm
