Our Sunday Skills Centres, are designed to develop youngsters fundamental movements, in a fun, football environment. The sessions are based at the Burton Albion Community Football Centre 3G.
The sessions, that are ran in partnership with ADS Consultancy, are available to children aged 3-12 years old and will run from 9am-10am.
3-4 Year Olds
Our youngest available session is a great introduction to football in a relaxed and safe environment. Children will be encouraged to develop their social and physical skills, whilst working along Burton Albion Community Trusts (BACT) fully qualified coaches. Parents are also invited to be part of the session, which is optional, however, we advise that this is suitable for the emotional and behavioural development of their child.
5-12 Year Olds
This session aims to help children enhance their techniques, skills and game understanding through fun game situations and competitions. Coaching support will be then further applied to progress the youngsters decision making skills on, around and away from the ball. The course is run by our FA licensed BACT coaches, who are experienced with working with children and adults, which will ensure the delivery of a fun and active session.
This session is completely the same as the one above, however, for it is ran in a ‘girls only’ environment. Girls who do still wish to join in the boys can still do so at the above session, however, we offer this session to allow girls the chance to progress in a session that they may feel that they are more comfortable with participating in.
From 17th September – £18 for 6 non consecutive sessions or £4 per session
