THIS week BACT had to say goodbye to our Spanish visiting coaches, who have been working for with us for the past month to look at the way we coach and run projects over here in England.
This is the third time that we have welcomed football coaches over from Spain, this time welcoming Jo from Eibar and Nacho of Sevilla. The coaches, who linked up with BACT through the help of the Spanish FA, explored a number of different projects that BACT run, looking at how they could be incorporated into the Spanish model and way of thinking when it comes to community based football. Community Trusts are something that are a rarity in their country, so this was therefore a very worthwhile experience for the two men.
Along with taking ideas and learning about the English culture, it was also a fascinating and worthwhile experience for BACT coaches, as the two visitors could share their knowledge and preach about the different ways of coaching and running schemes in Spain.
During their time here, they got to make lots of friends around the club, as well as getting to take in the game between the Brewers and Barnsley at the Pirelli Stadium, in which they also got to assist the pre-match activities over on the community astro-turf.
We would like to wish all the two coaches all the best for the future and we would like to thank them for all their help and support during their time with us.
