FOR many school leavers, choosing your career path can be a pretty daunting thing, if though you want to do something that allows you to both earn, learn, study at your own pace and train in an environment that you love – well an apprenticeship might just be the right choice for you.

Burton Albion Community Trust (BACT) have now delivered and supported a number of young people for a number of years, helping them to achieve their potential, whilst gaining a qualification along the way. BACT are now pleased to celebrate the latest apprenticeship success with a group of young apprentices completing their qualification recently.

The good news doesn’t stop there as a number of the group have now moved onto full time employment, with offers in local education and coaching roles within BACT.

Education and Learning Manager, Wayne Chadfield, said: “The apprenticeship programme is a valuable asset and resource to BACT as it allows us to support learners with on the job experience and more formal education lessons.

“Our greatest measure of success has to be the opportunities that apprentices move onto, seeing them move into full time employment and further education is something we’re always proud of.”
