OUR very own Burton Albion Soccer Schools gave local youngsters the chance to get a small taste of what it could be like to be a Premier League footballer, as they visited the home of Liverpool FC, Anfield.

Youngsters who have been participating in the weekly summer soccer schools at both Burton Albion Community Football Centre and at Uttoxeter, got a behind-the-scenes tour of the iconic stadium yesterday, much to the delight of over fifty children.

It’s the second tour that the youngsters have got to embark on in recent weeks, following a trip to Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium just a fortnight ago. Interested parties can now also book on to the tour of the summer on the 22nd August, when we visit The National FA Centre, St George’s Park. The tour also includes a unique coaching experience at the same location of where the England national team play, for just £25 for the full day – click here to book now.

Scott Taylor, Football Development Manager, said: “We’re delighted to take a full coach loads of youngsters, which also included some parents to Liverpool. It was a great day for everyone involved and we can’t wait for the next trip. It’s just up the road at St George’s Park, but the experience that the youngsters will get whilst they’re there is one to not miss!”
