Respect Burton: Our Space
Our Respect Burton programme is delivered in partnership with Burton Youth for Christ and funded for a small number of schools. The programme delivers a bespoke programme of 5 PSHE sessions that meet the needs of individual schools and there students in Years 5 and 6.
PHSE – The Right Choice
Our Primary PHSE programme ‘The Right Choice’ has a selection of 17 subjects that can be delivered to Year 5 and 6 children to meet the needs of your school. We are looking to expand the programme across Key Stage 2 and would welcome enquiries.
Raising Aspirations
The Raising Aspirations programme is aimed at Key Stage 2 children to enable every individual to make an informed decision about their pathway towards a successful career. Identify and discuss potential careers.
Transitional Learning
We are able to tailor transition days to meet the need of your school(s), whether it takes place at a school, the Pirelli Stadium, or one of our facilities we can help to deliver a range of education options. These include Maths, English, Team-building, Business etc.
Enterprise Academy
The enterprise academy is a 10-hour course delivering the basic principles of Business and enterprise. Youngsters will look into what a business is and how it operates. Burton Albion Football Club and United Biscuits will be used as case studies.
Literacy & Numeracy
Working in Partnership with Club Learning we offer additional tuition in both Mathematics and English to help raise attainment. This involves an hour in education and an hour practical session per week. You also have access to an online platform which helps assist personalised learning as well engagement tools.
Work Experience
Here at Burton Albion Community Trust we can offer work experience placements to help assist with your career choices, in the placement you shadow support and assist one of our community coaches or project coordinators. You get to experience the full role including the opportunity to see Burton Albion Football Club behind the scenes.
