Activity sessions for the members of our community aged 50 years and over, sessions last for two hours and are delivered by our friendly staff. During the sessions there will be a mixture of physical activity such as bowls, skittles, kurling and table tennis, there will also be time to have a cuppa and a chat or have a game of dominoes, cards or the occasional game of bingo.
Over 50’s Football
The UK’s fastest growing sport is Walking Football and the Burton Albion Community trust are proud to be the Midlands Regional Walking football champions and have played in the last two National Walking Football finals. There are plenty of opportunities for residents of East Staffordshire to come and join in at any time, the 1st session is FREE no need to book just turn up in suitable clothing and with a drink.

We deliver an inclusive football session that meet once a week at Meadowside Leisure Centre, from 10am-11am. The programme is designed to enable participants from across East Staffordshire to improve their mental health and wellbeing, lead a healthy and active lifestyle, whilst creating socialising opportunities.
Open to anyone aged 16 years and over join us at the hub to make new friends and take part in fun Inclusive physical and social activities. All abilities are welcome to join in the activities or have a chat with our staff over tea and coffee.
