Last week saw the graduation of our third year Football Coaching and Sports Coaching degree students at the International Convention Centre in Cardiff.
The courses, which are run in partnership with the EFL Trust and University of South Wales, combines studying and embedded work based learning within a Football Club, with the students gaining unrivalled support from experienced club mentors.
The graduates are now progressing into full time employment within the Community Trust, delivering on an array of programmes to support the community.
Further successes include part time employment of some of our first and second-year cohort.
Ben Webster, Post 16 Lead Coordinator, said “It’s a fantastic occasion for our new graduates to celebrate their efforts with their families. We’re really proud of not only developing their skill sets to make our learners deployable, but also employable within the sports industry, and we’re proud of the transition from students to staff that these learners have made by showcasing themselves positively on their work-based learning programmes”.
Starting in September 2023, BACT’s Higher Education offer improves with the introduction of the Sports Business and Management Degree.
