BREWER’S mens first team stars Tyler Onyango and Sam Winnall visited William Shrewsbury school recently.
The two took part in a game of bench ball before hosting an impromptu question and answer session with two year three groups.
They were given a tough grilling on topics such as their favourite players, teams, matches they’ve played and much more.
After a fun and revealing Q&A, the two took time to sign programmes for the kids.
Brewers Striker Sam Winnall said: “It was a lovely session and I’ve had a great time with the kids. They definitely asked some tough questions.
“It was my first time playing benchball too and the kids were definitely more experienced than me.”
Katie Johnson, BACT School Sport manager said: “We’re blessed with such a strong partnership with the football club at Burton Albion. It’s a privilege to have so many appearances and visits from the first team. The kids are always so much fun with the lads too.”
