A fantastic day of sport and generosity unfolded at Burton Golf Club as Burton Kia hosted its annual charity Golf Day, raising an incredible £3,460 in support of Burton Albion Community Trust.
The event brought together local businesses, golf enthusiasts, and community supporters for a memorable day of friendly competition and charitable giving. The atmosphere was one of camaraderie and commitment to a shared goal: helping make a difference in the Burton community.
As the golfers were finishing up, Burton Albion first team players Jordi Amissah and Fábio Tavares joined the fun, taking time to pose for photos and chat with participants—adding a special touch to an already enjoyable day.
Harry Bullock, Director of Burton Kia, praised the collective effort, saying: “It’s been an amazing day with a lot of generosity from the companies and golfers involved. We’re so proud of the money we’ve raised that will undoubtedly be put to really good use by the Trust. The funds raised will go directly towards supporting BACT’s diverse community programmes, which span health and wellbeing, education, and social inclusion projects across Burton and the surrounding area.
