NESTLÉ has donated 2000 Easter Eggs to support projects that are operated by Burton Albion Community Trust.
The Easter eggs, generously provided by Nestlé are a gift to those in need and have gone to such projects as: Social Prescribing, HAF (Holiday Activities and Food), a half term programme which supports children with free meals and activities; Alternative Education, a programme for kids who aren’t in mainstream education and participants of our Extra Time Hubs, for over 50s which offers a social occasion as well as physical and mental activities.
The people benefitting from the eggs are disadvantaged families on low income, vulnerable and elderly people living on their own and members of our community who are experiencing mental and physical health problems.
Many children and adults we work with will not get an Easter egg this year and we are hoping to change that by providing as many as we can to those in need. Nestle’s donation will massively help in supporting that vision.
Stefanie White, Partnerships and Event Manager for BACT, said ‘It is absolutely fantastic that Nestle have donated this many eggs to us. This will allow us to bring some joy to disadvantaged families, the vulnerable and the elderly living on their own who would not necessarily have received an egg this year.”
