MPWR GROUP ANNOUNCED AS HEADLINE SPONSOR OF BREWERS 10K

Burton Albion Community Trust (BACT) is proud to announce MPWR Group as the Headline Sponsor of the 2026 Brewers 10K.

MPWR Group is a multi‑award‑winning organisation with a unique, multi‑faceted approach to preventing exclusion, disengagement and offending, while promoting positive mental health and behaviour through fitness. Using physical activity as a powerful engagement tool, MPWR supports young people to develop confidence, resilience and positive life outcomes.

BACT is currently working in partnership with MPWR Group to deliver invaluable support within its secondary alternative education provision, with the organisation already making a significant positive impact through its expertise, insight and commitment to young people.

As headline sponsors of the Brewers 10K, MPWR Group will play a key role in supporting one of BACT’s flagship community events. The partnership reflects the shared values of both organisations and their commitment to improving mental health, wellbeing and opportunities for young people through sport and physical activity.

The Brewers 10K brings together runners, families and supporters from across the region, while raising awareness of and support for BACT’s wide‑ranging work across the local community.

Dannii Fulford, Founder & CEO of MPWR Group, said: “We are really excited to be the headline sponsors of the Brewers 10K and are encouraging all of our current, past and future young people to take part in whatever capacity they feel comfortable. We are extremely passionate about the positive effects that fitness and physical activity can have on mental health, development and diversion in young people, so this event aligns perfectly with what we are striving to achieve here at MPWR.”

Katie Johnson, Head of Community at Burton Albion Community Trust, added: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome MPWR Group as the headline sponsors of the Brewers 10K. Their commitment to using fitness and physical activity as a tool to support young people’s mental health and personal development aligns perfectly with our values at Burton Albion Community Trust. The work MPWR are delivering alongside us within our Secondary Alternative Education provision is already having a real and tangible impact, and we are proud to continue strengthening this partnership. Their support of the Brewers 10K will help us engage even more young people and families through sport and physical activity.”
