PAUL GASKIN APPOINTED AS BACT’S DEPUTY HEAD OF COMMUNITY

Burton Albion Community Trust is delighted to announce the recent appointment of Paul Gaskin as our new Deputy Head of Community.

Paul returns to the Trust having previously served as Community Manager from September 2018 until August 2024, where he played a key role in managing impactful programmes across East Staffordshire and beyond. During his previous tenure, Paul was instrumental in expanding the Trust’s outreach, building strong partnerships, and enhancing opportunities for local people to engage in sport and community initiatives.

Following his time at Burton Albion Community Trust, Paul joined the Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket Foundation as Head of Cricket Participation. In this role, he successfully led initiatives to increase participation levels across the region, further strengthening his expertise in community sport development.

Paul’s return marks an exciting step forward for the Trust as it continues to grow and deliver impactful programmes. In his new role as Deputy Head of Community, he will support the strategic development and delivery of programmes that promote Health & Wellbeing, Education, Inclusion and Schools and Coaching across the community.

Speaking on his appointment, Paul Gaskin said: “I’m thrilled to be returning to Burton Albion Community Trust. The organisation holds a special place for me, and I’m excited to build on the fantastic work already taking place. I’m looking forward to working with colleagues, partners and participants to continue making a positive difference in our communities.”
