BACT FAMILY FUN DAY AT UTTOXETER RACECOURSE RAISES OVER EIGHT HUNDRED POUNDS

BURTON Albion Community Trust’s family fun day at Uttoxeter Racecourse recently raised over eight hundred pounds.

The day, which was kindly dedicated to BACT by the Racecourse was a huge success with lots of activities on offer such as crazy golf, inflatables, rides, games and much more and we were delighted to support the event.

Raising £845 in total, the money will be used to support our community projects. Mascots Billy and Bettie Brewer delighted the families who attended on the day with lots of fun and games, as well as posing for photos.

As the racecourse’s chosen charity of the year, we were privileged to put on the event and we would like to extend a huge thank you to the Bookmakers on the day who were extremely generous and made donations on the day too.

Burton Albion Football Club chairman Ben Robinson was in attendance as well as BACT trustee Frank Spiers, who also celebrated his 70th birthday on the day.

Stefanie White, BACT Business Development manager said: “The day was a huge success. It was such a pleasure to see so many happy and smiling faces on the day and most importantly, raising lots of money that will be a hugely help to our community projects.

“It’s a pleasure to have days like these generously donated to us by the racecourse and we hope this relationship can continue to help the community.”
