BACT HOSTS FIRST ROUND OF INAUGURAL CHARITY GOLF LEAGUE

THE FIRST round of the eagerly anticipated BACT Charity Golf League swung into action recently.

Hosted at Broughton Heath Golf Club in Church Broughton and sponsored by Raygar Architectural and Engineering Supplies, the League featured 20 players from Raygar, Palletforce, ADEY Plumbing, Midland fire, Air IT, BACT and Tag Sportswear all shooting it out on the 18-hole par 3 course.

BACT has kindly been chosen as Charity of the Year by Broughton Heath men’s club captain Pat Westwood and funds raised will support our Ability Counts disability football sessions.

BACT Partnerships and Events Manager Stefanie White said: “After the success of our Golf Day last year, we wanted to do something different. We hope everyone enjoyed their day and we can’t wait to see who will turn out the winner after the 3 rounds.”

Broughton Heath Men’s Club Captain Pat Westwood said: “We have loved hosting the first round of the golf league. The weather has been very kind and the golf has been enjoyably too. Thank you to everyone who came and we will hopefully see all players back for the next round.”

The next round of the competition will take place on Thursday 13th July at Broughton Heath Golf Club and new entrants are more than welcome. Following the conclusion of the golf, friends and family are welcome for an evening event at the club. To get involved in the day please contact friends@burtonalbionct.org or call 01283 246207.
