BURTON Albion first team stars Mark Helm, Jordan Amissah and Zac Ashworth spent time at Burton Albion Community Trust’s February half term football camps this week.
On Tuesday midfielder Helm and ‘keeper Amissah stopped by and on Thursday it was the turn of West Bromwich Albion loanee Zac Ashworth. After a quick Q&A session, the lads got straight into a game situation. The pick of the action was Helm’s cool side footed finished past Amissah who was left helpless in goal. To round off the session, the players were only too happy to sign autographs and pose for photos with the dazzled youngsters
After the camp finished, Brewers shot-stopper Jordan Amissah said: “I remember going to these camps when I was younger. It’s good to see the children on the camps having such a good time and hopefully we’ll be seeing them at the Pirelli for Saturday’s game.”
BACT Community Engagement Manager Paul Gaskin said: “Our half term camps have always been good fun and having the first team players visit makes it extra special. The lads were great with the children too. We are grateful to the first team for allowing them to visit us.”
