Burton Albion Community Trust (BACT) has launched its “Honesty Ear Defenders” to help create a better Burton Albion match day experience for all.
Burton Albion is looking to help its communities and improve accessibility to match days. The atmosphere of a match day can be at times overwhelming for a range of people with disabilities. The ear defenders will be available to collect from the Family Zone, which takes place 90 minutes before kick off at the Burton Albion Community Trust Football Centre astro turf.
Once the full time whistle has blown, please return any pair of ear defenders used to boxes which will be situated at the floodlights in the South West and North West corners of the Pirelli Stadium and the South East stand for away supporters.
BACT Community Engagement Manager Paul Gaskin said: “At BACT, we are always looking to provide our communities with more opportunities to access not only Burton Albion FC but sport as a whole.
“We believe that the honesty ear defenders help to remove one barrier that impacts on the disability community joining us on a Saturday for a match day.”
