DAVIS KEILLOR DUNN VISITS SOCCER CAMP

BURTON Albion new summer signing Davis Keillor-Dunn visited one of Burton Albion Community Trust’s soccer camps yesterday.

The midfielder got involved with activities and matches, before posing for photos and signing autographs at the end of the session.

The Brewers first team players have very popular out in the local community recently, with John Brayford, Sam Hughes, Ben Garratt, Callum Hawkins and Gassan Ahadme all attending appearances.

Following the session, Keillor-Dunn said: “I obviously haven’t been at this club long, but I’ve been made to feel so welcome by everyone and today was another reminder of that.

“The kids and coaches were great fun to be around and I can’t wait to meet more of the people out in the local community.”

Head of Community, Matt Hancock, said: “After two years, being able to host player appearances again and so many of them is so refreshing.

“The work delivered in the community by Burton Albion as a whole is so important and having access to first team players on a regular basis is something we definitely don’t take for granted.”

The soccer camps are running all over the school summer holidays and end on August 25th at two different locations, with one taking place at the Community Football Centre and the other at Holland Sports Club in Barton. There’s lots of football fun and games on each day across our two locations so don’t miss out.
