DO you know an individual or organisation that has made a huge difference and gone above and beyond in 2021? Trent & Dove Housing are hosting their ‘Impact on the Community’ awards at the Pirelli Stadium in May to honour those helpful people.
2021 was a tough year for everyone. The pandemic and lockdown were tough, but the human spirit shone through and their 16th annual awards night wants to recognise those who helped during a difficult period.
Following the success of last year’s Covid Hero Awards, Trent & Dove are delighted to announce that the event will be in partnership with Burton Albion Community Trust. The Trust has been at the heart of life in East Staffordshire for the last 12 years and shares core values with Trent & Dove.
There are nine categories to choose from:
- Overall impact on the community – individual
- Overall impact on the community – organisation
- Community project
- Impact on you people – individual or organisation
- Impact on older people – individual or orgnisation
- Impact on environment and sustainability
- Achievement by a younger person under 18
- Local fundraiser
- Volunteer of the year

“This is the sixteenth year of holding these awards which recognise and celebrate the positive contributions made by many individuals and organisations to their local communities and support our aim of making our neighbourhoods better places to live.
“Last year’s Covid Hero Awards evening was highly successful and highlighted the wealth of good work that is being done by both organisations and individuals in our area.”
