TAYLOR AND ADEBOYEJO ATTEND MATHS SUPERHEROES DAY AT RIVERVIEW SCHOOL

BURTON Albion First team stars Terry Taylor and Victor Adeboyejo attended a maths superheroes day at local primary school Riverview.

An assembly was also hosted to celebrate the success of pupil Mia, who’s outstanding achievement in BACT’s Premier League Primary Maths Stars programme saw her scoop a School Sport Award at BACT’s recent Star Awards ceremony.

As Mia, wasn’t available to attend on the night, Taylor and Adeboyejo were only too happy to join in with her maths session as part of her reward. The midfielder and striker also took time to pose for photos and sign programmes for the whole class.

School Sport Manager Katie Johnson said: “Mia’s maths ability has grown massively in the last couple of years and to present her with our award is brilliant.

“At the start of the programme her confidence was low in the subject but seeing her today helping the players with their maths is unbelievable”.

Brewers striker Victor Adeboyejo said: “It’s been a brilliant afternoon. My maths skills were definitely tested.

“It’s good to see so many kids still engaging in the subject and there were some great superhero costumes too!”.
