SIGN-UP FOR THE BREWERS 10K IN OCTOBER

BURTON Albion Community Trust is set to host its inaugural 10K run.

Taking place on Sunday 9 October 2022, the race is the very first closed road race event in the town’s history. The aim of the event is to raise funding for BACT’s community projects, as well as to help increase the profile of the town.

Referred to as a ‘lollipop route’, the race will start and finish at the Pirelli Stadium. The run will then feature a route through the main roads of villages Stretton and Rolleston.

The whole route is closed off and is a perfect run for beginners, people that want to beat their PB, or for those that want to run for fun!

Anyone can enter the race and it can be taken at any pace. There are a number of opportunities to get involved in race as well as running, including; sponsorship, volunteering, helping out the runners village and much more.

Stefanie White, BACT Business Development Manager, said: “This event has been so long in the making and it’s a relief and a pleasure to see it finally unveiled. All our hard work has come down to this and we can’t wait for October to see everyone lined up on the start line!”
